Comparison

Already have Siri? Where does NocGO fit?

An objective look at Siri, Apple's screenshot tools, and NocGO's draft workflow. Compare how you capture, review, select, and save events or reminders.

NocGO · Updated

If you want to say “remind me to call tomorrow afternoon,” Siri is a convenient built-in option. NocGO focuses on a dedicated workflow for screenshots and extra instructions: prepare drafts, inspect the details, select the items you want, and confirm where they are saved.

What Siri and Apple’s screenshot tools already do

Siri supports spoken reminder requests. Apple’s newer screen-aware features also support questions and actions based on on-screen content and screenshots. Availability varies by device, software, language, and region; basic Siri and Siri AI do not have identical requirements.

Apple documents Siri AI as a beta on supported Apple Intelligence devices with iOS 27 or later. Check the current Siri screen and screenshot guide for availability, and Siri reminders for simple spoken tasks.

A short spoken reminder A built-in option for a task you can state directly. Voice transcription and typed text are also inputs, followed by draft review.
Plans already in a screenshot Screen-aware actions are available on supported configurations. Choose or capture a screenshot, optionally select a region, and submit it with extra context.
Inspecting several extracted items Check the actual flow available on your device and OS. Review calendar and reminder drafts together; edit and select items before confirming.
Adding missing context The interaction depends on the Siri version and the available action. Type or transcribe a request in the app, and inspect it before recognition.
Starting with a back gesture Back Tap and Shortcuts are Apple features. Configure Back Tap to run the NocGO shortcut; app-based entry is also available.
Setup and access Siri and related features need the relevant system settings and support. Install NocGO when available, allow cloud recognition and destination access, and optionally set up the shortcut.

Three situations to help you decide

“Remind me to call at 3.” Siri is a convenient choice for this.

A chat screenshot with a meeting and a task. NocGO lets you submit the screenshot with context, inspect the resulting drafts, and select what to save. Dates and changed plans still need checking. See the chat-to-calendar example.

You want to correct an extracted field before adding it. In NocGO, edit the title, time, and destination, then confirm the addition.

Requirements and data handling matter

NocGO supports iOS 17 and later. Its shortcut system cards require iOS 26; an app-based path serves older supported systems. A network connection is needed for cloud recognition.

In NocGO, voice transcription is on device. Screenshots and submitted text are processed by an external AI service with your permission. Calendar or reminder access is requested separately, and you confirm before additions. Read the privacy policy. For Siri or Apple Intelligence, see the privacy information for the feature you use.

Supported apps

NocGO supports Apple Calendar and Reminders. Google Calendar and Todoist are in testing.
